Mets Top Power Ranking For 2nd Strait Week

At MLB.com, they give this week's power rankings and the Mets came in at number one again. The only other NL East team in the top 15 are the Braves at number four:

1. Mets

Sure enough, as Jimmy Rollins said, the Phillies were the team to beat. So the Mets did -- twice in three days. And what a week for the Geriatric Set (Julio Franco, Tom Glavine and Moises Alou).

4. Braves

Every regular in the lineup has already homered to fuel a start unsurpassed by any of those 14 consecutive division-winners. The Braves weren't regressing last season, just taking a deep breath.
