Minor League Tracker: Jorge Sosa

Ted Berg at SNY, writes about Jorge Sosa and his latest start in New Orleans:

Jorge Sosa, whose signing I decried in the offseason, took his second win of the season with a six-inning, two-run effort. He struck out seven in the game and is now 2-0 with 16 strikeouts and a sterling 0.95 ERA across 19 innings.

Sosa, because he has more Major League experience than Phil Humber and Jason Vargas and because Chan Ho Park was torched in his most recent Triple-A start, is probably the first-call starter if one of the Mets' five gets hurt or proves consistently ineffective.
