One More Chance For Pelfrey?

Mike Pelfrey was lit up by the struggling Rockies on Wednesday, allowing six runs and eight hits in three innings.

Pelfrey earned his rotation spot this spring, but he hasn't impressed in three starts, two of which were rather easy assignments (he faced the Nationals in his season debut). The 23-year-old is currently 0-2 with a 7.90 ERA. If he doesn't rebound next time out, the Mets could consider sending him down and replacing him in the rotation with Jorge Sosa.
