Sanchez Has Successful Surgery Again

The Official Press Release at Mets.com, writes about Duaner Sanchez and the second surgery he underwent yesterday:


The New York Mets announced today that right-handed relief pitcher Duaner Sanchez underwent successful shoulder surgery at New York's Hospital for Special Surgery. Mets Medical Director Dr. David Altchek inserted a screw in the coracoid, a small bone in front of his right shoulder, to repair the hairline fracture.

Sanchez will need 6-8 weeks to recover from the surgery and and will begin his rehabilitation thereafter.
