Delgado On His Hitting

Matthew Cerrone at Mets Blog, writes about Carlos Delgado and his current hitting situation:


This season, Mets 1B Carlos Delgado is batting just .214.

However, during the last four games, he is batting .315 with one HR, two RBI, two doubles and just two strike outs.

“I think the last three or four games I’ve felt better at the plate. I have a better rhythm, I’m seeing the ball better. I think I eliminated some of the body movement and I feel slower at the plate, which is a good thing – like my feet are slower. And my bat is coming through the zone a little quicker…
