Wagner, The Better Choice

Michael Salfino at SNY, writes about the Mets and how Billy Wagner may have been the better choice:

Billy Wagner has been as good as the Mets hoped when they took heat for signing him instead of B.J. Ryan (out after Tommy John surgery). He's been effective this year even on nights when he doesn't have the high-90s heater. Wagner hasn't allowed a homer this year after allowing seven in 72.3 inning in '06.
