Former Met Prospect Update: Victor Diaz

Victor Diaz is enjoying a pretty good season so far with the Rangers. He’s hitting .256, to go along with 9 home runs and 25 RBI’s in 90 at bats.

The Mets traded Diaz last year to the Rangers for Minor League Catcher Mike Nickeas after falling short of producing in Queens.

It looks like the trade was the bst thing for Diaz, because he was going nowhere fast with the Mets.
