Game Recap:: Mets 2 -- Cardinals 0

Short and sweet...

6 innings. 3 combined hits. 2 runs. And 1 Mets win.
The Mets beat the Cardinals 2-0 in a rain shortened game, which only lasted 6 innings.

Tom Glavine earned win number 297, only allowing one hit in his 6 innings. Glavine walked 2 and struck out 1.

...just a great start from Glav...imagine if it was a full game? just stellar...

David Wright provided the only offense of the game, knocking a 2-run blast in the 1st inning. Paul Lo Duca scored after smacking a single a few batters earlier.

...nice hit David, way to go the other way on that and just crush it...

Carlos Gomez continues to impress in the field, making a few nice plays. I want to know what you think of Gomez?? Let me know in the comments!

Game Ball:: Glavine and Wright!
