Ruben Gotay and His Upcoming Status

24 year old Ruben Gotay had a monster day today against the D-Backs going 3-4 with a home run 3 rbi's and 2 runs. Jose Valentin is ready to come off the DL and is expected to do so on tuesday against the Phillies. This most likely means that Gotay will be sent down to AAA. I dont think that is the best option. I would prefer to keep Gotay up considering he is batting .316 with 9 rbi's, 2 home runs, and only 4 strikeouts in 38 at bats thus far with the Mets.
