Mets Win A Pitcher's Duel 3-1

http://www.bleedorangeandblue.blogspot.com/

A good game today... The Mets lack of offense was picked up by Orlando Hernandez and the Mets bullpen combining for a 3-hitter.

Here is the recap (player and subjects)

Orlando Hernandez and the Mets Bullpen

El Duque was lights out and covered the Mets lack of offense. He went 7 innings, giving up a run on 3 hits while striking out 8. Thank you El Duque!!!
Aaron Heilman and Billy Wagner finished off the game. The Mets had 2 errors in the ninth by Jose Reyes and Ruben Gotay.

The Mets Offense
Ruben Gotay was 2-4 with a run and an RBI.
Lastings Milledge was 1-3 but had an RBI double.
Jose Reyes was 2-5 with a run and was caught stealing.
...the Mets offense really wasn't present-they should have scored 6 runs with the kind of oppurtunities they had...

The Nationals Offense
They were shut down much more than the Mets were, only having 3 hits with their run coming on a Felipe Lopez solo shot.

Good Game! I am going to the game tonight (of course I get Pelfrey for the 3rd time this season).
Go Mets tonight!

I am afraid that this statement is not correct"They were shut down much more than the Mets were, only having 3 hits with their run coming on a Felipe Lopez solo shot.
".I would appreciate if you can further elaborate this.Thank you.
