Former Met Update: Jeff Keppinger

Former Met farm hand and one of my personal favorite under dogs, Jeff Keppinger, is batting .368 in 136 at bats for the Cincinnati Reds this season. He also is carrying a fielding percentage of 1.000 (second base – 2 games), 1.000 (third base – 7 games), 1.000 (outfield – 1 game) and .991 (short stop – 25 games. All this from a player the Mets didn’t think could field.

Good job Jeff and hopefully one day the Mets and you will meet again. I know I sincerely wouldn’t mind this.
