Game Recap:: Mets 4 -- Dodgers 3

El Duque is my hero...

The Mets rode a hot El Duque, who went 7 innings only allowing 4 hits, as the Mets won by a score of 4-3. Orlando Hernandez struck out 7 batters and walked only 2. He gave up 2 earned runs, which both came on solo shots.

...well done Duque...well done!...

Pedro Felicano looked good, but gave up a run after a Lastings Milledge misplay. Pedro gave up 2 hits and walked none.

Aaron Heilman, coming in to close the game, allowed one hit before getting a double play to end the game. Heilman was closing to give a struggling Billy Wagner a day off.

...Heilman looked good, i have to say...

Jose Reyes scored another run today, his 97th off the year.
David Wright went 2-2 with 2 walks. He knocked in 1 RBI and scored twice.

...mpv...

Carlos Beltran went 2-4 and scored once.
Jeff Conine hit a run scoring double, as he played left field today.
Carlos Delgado broke an 0-18 slump, and smacked a two run single to center field in the 5th inning.

...finally!!!!...
...thank you Delgy! thank youuuu!...
