Harper Wins Eastern League Player Of The Week

The Eastern League has named Binghamton Mets first baseman/outfielder Brett Harper the Eastern League Player Of The Week for the week that ended Sunday.

Harper ended the week with a flourish, homering twice as part of a three-hit day Sunday at Reading. The 26-year-old batted .524 (11 for 21) for the week with three homers, eight RBI and 10 runs scored over six games.
