Pedro Update

Eric Pfahler at the TC Palm writes about Pedro Martinez's latest rehab start:

Pedro Martinez threw four innings on Tuesday for the Gulf Coast League Mets, a Rookie League affiliate of the New York Mets.

Martinez tossed 60 pitches and gave up three runs on a home run along with three hits in the start at Tradition Field. He struck out four and walked one. Martinez, 35, then threw another 20 fastballs in a bullpen session following the game.

Martinez is expected to pitch at least one more minor league rehab start before making a return to New York.
