Valentin Hopes To Return This Season
At Rotoworld they write about Jose Valentin and what he has to do to return in September:
Jose Valentin hopes to return from his broken right tibia before the end of the season.
Valentin, who remains on crutches, will be evaluated by doctors on Aug. 30 to determine if there is any chance for a mid-September return from the disabled list.

i could see the mets bringing him back as a bench player next year
