El Duque Loses The Boot
Steve Adamek at North Jersey writes about Orlando Hernandez and his boot:
Discarding his protective boot, Orlando Hernandez threw off flat ground Monday and if he feels up to it today, plans to throw a bullpen session.
Manager Willie Randolph said he'd like to run El Duque out for a few regular-season innings before setting his postseason rotation, but wouldn't commit to it, saying, "You want to go into the end of the season having a better feel for everyone and where everybody fits in."

hes el duque...we should give him the benifit of the doubt on anything
