Lo Duca May Not Be Out?

Mike Puma at The New York Post writes about Paul Lo Duca and how him coming back to New York may not be a dead issue anymore:

Minaya said he and his staff are considering free-agent options and trades to fill the catching position. That includes Paul Lo Duca, whose agent Minaya has contacted, although it's believed Lo Duca wants a long-term deal, and the Mets are not inclined to go past one or two years.

Willie Randolph, speaking at the Bowery Mission in Manhattan, where he helped serve lunch to the homeless yesterday, indicated he wouldn't mind having Lo Duca back.

"I'm only the manager, not and the general manager and this is a group decision, but Paulie could play for me any day," Randolph said.
