Lo Duca Ready To Come Back Now
Steve Popper at North Jersey writes about Paul Lo Duca's agent and him saying that Lo Duca wants to finalize a contract with the Mets:According to Lo Duca's agent, Andrew Mongelluzzi, the Mets have not given an indication that a deal can get done now.
"We are open to finalizing a deal with the Mets," Mongelluzzi said in an e-mail. "The Mets have repeatedly stated that they 'want the player' and discussions will continue. However, I don't believe that the Mets are ready as they are considering all of their options."

this should be a no brainer
give him 2 years omar and then sign castillo and worry about pitching
they have to bring him back before there are no more options left and they have to settle for pena so soon
