Do You Remember...

Marty Noble at Mets.com writes about Johan Santana and his first visit to Shea Stadium:

You may recall Santana's start against the Mets at Shea Stadium on June 19. It came after he had lost two successive starts, and it was the first of victories in five successive starts. And it was something to behold. He pitched the Twins to a 9-0 win on four hits, walking no one and -- oddly -- striking out merely one. Paul Lo Duca struck out after Jose Reyes had led off the ninth inning with the Mets' fourth single. Santana himself hit a double, drew a walk and scored a run.
