A Good Sign

Anthony DiComo and Marty Noble at Mets.com writes about Pedro Martinez throwing 55 pitches and how he felt afterward:

Pedro Martinez threw 55 pitches in a bullpen session on Tuesday -- several of them again with his eyes closed -- and said he again felt pleased with both his health and his progress.

"It felt natural," Martinez said. "That's the way it's supposed to feel, and that's the way I used to feel before I got hurt. I would just pick up a ball, throw it, go through my routine and feel like I could do it an hour later. That's pretty much how it was today."
