Martinez Wants To Play Past 2008
Mark Hale and Joel Sherman at The New York Post writes about Pedro Martinez and his ambition to pitch past the 2008 season:
Pedro Martinez's agent, Fernando Cuza, said Martinez wants to play beyond 2008. Martinez is due to make $11.5 million this year, the final season of his four-year Mets pact. "As long as he's able to pitch without the discomfort and the pain, he's going to want to play for a long time," Cuza said. "He enjoys the game."

im not sure if it will be with the mets but good luck on that pedro
if he pitches well i hope it is withthe mets for one or two more years
