Truly Sad News: Fan Dies At Shea

Last night, after a great victory, the Mets' suffered a far greater loss, as Mets' fan Antonio Narainasami, 36, fell to his death while walking down an escalator that had been turned off, as his two young daughters watched in horror. Haven't been to Shea that much in the last year or so, but I thought they closed the escalators after games completely (ie--turn them off and barricade) so as to avoid just this type of accident. Prayers to his family....It looks like he was fooling around and fell off. I suspect alcohol played a tragic part in this.
