Willie takes second
Marty Noble at Mets.com, writes about Willie Randolph and his second place finish in the Manager of the Year award:
After leading his team to its first division title since 1988, Willie Randolph finished second in the balloting for the National League Manager of the Year Award. The Mets manager, who last month completed his second season in the position, was runner-up to Joe Girardi, the deposed Marlins manager, in the 32-ballot voting done by members of the Baseball Writers' Association of America -- two from each city represented in the league.
