Cubs show interest in Floyd

The Cubs have requested medical information on free agent Cliff Floyd.

This could take a while. How many weeks do you suppose it would take to put together a complete history of Floyd's injuries anyway? And then, once it was finally compiled, it's not like you could overnight it to teams. The postage alone would cost more than Floyd's services for 2007.
