David Wright visited San Diego last week to demonstrate the motion-capture technology used to make the PlayStation video game MLB 07 The Show, which features him on the cover. Here are some photos from the event.

As an aside, Rick Peterson used to take his pitchers to a Birmingham, Ala., lab to do high-tech analysis of their mechanics. It's virtually the same technology. Last year, a company attempting to make a business of the analysis took its technology to Port St. Lucie, which meant the Mets pitchers didn't have to travel to the lab.
