Just Arthritis

John Delcos at Lo Hud, writes about Orlando Hernandez and gives an update on his MRI:

Orlando Hernandez's MRI this afternooon showed arthritis, but no disk injury in his upper back. GM Omar Minaya said he should resume throwing in three to four days.

"Everything looked well," Minaya said moments ago in a conference call. "He received a cortisone injection and immediately felt better."

Hernandez first felt soreness after throwing batting practice two days ago. He experienced discomfort in the area last year but it never forced him to miss a game.
