News On Nady's Health

Over at News 8, they write about former Met and now Pirates outfielder Xavier Nady:

Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Xavier Nady was released from a hospital Thursday, two days after being admitted for an inflammation of the intestine.

Nady is expected to resume limited physical activity Friday.

He informed the team's medical staff Monday of recurring stomach pain. By Tuesday night, the pain had become sharp enough that he went to a hospital.

He's making progress, getting better," Pittsburgh general manager Dave Littlefield said shortly before Nady was released.

I'll always miss Nady and still wish he was in right field, rather than Shawn Green.
