Sanchez Should Be Ready For Opening Day

At the NY Times, they write about Duaner Sanchez and when he expects to be ready to pitch in a game:

General Manager Omar Minaya said last Thursday that he expected Sanchez to be ready to pitch on opening day in St. Louis, and Sanchez did not dispel that notion Tuesday. He said he began throwing three weeks ago in the Dominican Republic and had progressed to a distance of 120 feet. Next comes throwing from 150 feet, and by early March he expects to throw from a mound. Normally, Sanchez pitches only a few innings in spring training. This year, he said he needed to pitch more.
