Mark Hale at the New York Times, writes about the Mets and how well they did at the plate last night:

Last night, the Mets sent enough batters to the plate early on that Jose Reyes batted a third time before the Marlins' 7-8-9 hitters got to the plate for their first at-bats of the game.
