Lo Duca Is Expected To Play Tonight

Ed Ryan at Mets Fever (Shea Nation Network), writes about Paul Lo Duca and that he expects to play tonight:

Paul Lo Duca left last night's game in the third inning after being struck on the right hand by a foul tip. Lo Duca is a gamer, so for him to leave it must have really hurt, at the time he said he couldn't throw the ball. The biggest concern is that it's the same hand that was injured most of last season and towards the end of the year started to impact his play. X-rays taken last night were negative and Lo Duca expects to play tonight. He will be re-examined today and I'd be surprised if Willie lets him play, Castro has filled in admirably when given playing time.

X-rays of the right index finger of Mets catcher Paul Lo Duca, taken on Tuesday night during the Mets game here, were negative, but additional tests may be run on Wednesday when the Mets are in Miami. Lo Duca left the park on Tuesday
with his index and middle fingers wrapped together for support. He said he expected to play Wednesday night. source
