Player Update: Orlando Hernandez

Marty Noble at Mets.com, gives us an update on Mets Pitcher Orlando Hernandez:

Orlando Hernandez is expected to throw Saturday in Port St. Lucie and test his sore shoulder. The Mets wanted to have his shoulder "cool down" before he resumed throwing. El Duque was to start against the Marlins on Monday, but doctors detected bursitis in his shoulder, and he was assigned to the disabled list, retroactive to April 25. He becomes eligible for game action on May 11. But the Mets can't say he will be able to pitch by then.
