Player Update: Orlando Hernandez

Matthew Cerrone at Mets Blog, gives an update on Orlando Hernandez:

Prior to tonight’s game against the Giants, Mets GM Omar Minaya told reporters that Orlando Hernandez will miss at least two more starts.

Initially, the Mets had been saying Hernandez would miss only one turn through the rotation.

He has already missed two, and will apparently now miss another two…at least.
