Pelfrey Down, Sosa Up

Anthony Rieber at Newsday writes about Jorge Sosa coming back off of the disabled list and taking Mike Pelfrey's roster spot:

The Mets sent Mike Pelfrey to Triple-A New Orleans after the game to make room for Jorge Sosa, who will start in San Diego tonight. They had considered keeping Pelfrey as a reliever - he pitched out of the bullpen Thursday - but decided that would make little sense. "I'm a lot more comfortable starting games than coming out of the pen," said Pelfrey, who goes down with an 0-7 record and 6.12 ERA.
