Pedro Martinez (shoulder) is scheduled for a bullpen session Tuesday and a simulated game on Friday.

"His progress has really been better than we could have anticipated," bullpen coach Guy Conti said. "I keep telling people not to get to crazy, but it's hard not to. For me, I want to see it before I get excited." Martinez spent part of last week in the Dominican Republic, but was back in Miami yesterday.
