Duaner Sanchez (shoulder surgery) has resumed throwing on flat ground and could return from the disabled list around mid-August.

Sanchez still has a long road of recovery before he will be a factor in the Mets' bullpen. We wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't return until spring training.
