Yet another Floyd update
At Rotoworld, they write about Cliff Floyd and the Cubs:
The Cubs are close to signing free agent Cliff Floyd to an incentive-laden deal.
While it's disappointing that Matt Murton is getting turned into a platoon player after putting together a great second half last season and finishing with a .297/.365/.444 line, Floyd likely will be an upgrade when healthy, and since the 34-year-old is a poor bet to play in even 120-130 games, Murton still figures to approach 400 at-bats.
