Anderson Hernandez Called Up

Anderson Hernandez, who was the starting second baseman in the beginning of the 2006 season, was called up to replace the injured Jose Valentin. I think this is a great move. This kid has a very energetic personality, is one of the best defensive second basemans I have ever watched play. The only problem is his bat. He just can't get hits. This can probably be fixed.
